shi mangalambika vilas coffee hotel, kumbakonam!






really quaint and ambient coffee shop in the narrow galli leading to the temple. this place is a big hit amongst all trigger-happy tourists, and the filter coffee is amazing!

    This place is owned by my Dad and recently got a little facelift. Soooo thrilled to see our family restaurant in your blog. When you get a chance, please go visit our restaurant again. Trust me the filter coffee will still be amazing. :)

  5. Oh it reminds me of days when my uncle (in the picture) used to make fresh mooru mooru dosa's, kadappa and coffee :)

  6. yes my uncle's hotel is cool place and tiffin taste's yummy. We dont forget the past fun we had when we goto vaccation for kmu and enjoy with cousins and eating here.

  8. nice blog..kumbakonam is my native place...mangalavilas hotel is very much famous for filter coffee...if u need a proper filter coffee this is the best place..missing my home town...thanks for the pic diti......
