"show me your tooth"


we returned to dhobi ghat to give them the photographs that we took of them a month ago, and with tears [literally], handshakes and lots of cheering i was coaxed into taking some more! this is one of them, the beloved and omnipresent chai wala of dhobi ghat [center].

    awwww!! i ve always thought how wonderful itd be if every photographer started giving their subjects the prints.. its just incredible, the kind of affection these people bestow on you.. and of course, opening the doors for more photographers to come!
